Add slender, sculptural light with our brass crystal rod pendant light

A narrow faceted K9 crystal rod suspended from a plated brass holder and canopy, just 7 cm across but 38 cm tall — light enough visually to hang in a row without crowding a room. The cut glass catches and refracts the LED source into fine vertical highlights, giving a kitchen island, dining table or bedside a quietly luxurious edge. Available with a smoke or clear crystal shade and in warm or cool white.

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

IT TAKES A STANDARD E14 CAP BULB, SOLD EVERYWHERE IN THE UK. Choose an LED bulb for the longest life, and one marked dimmable if you plan to dim it.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

How low does it hang?

The suspension is set at installation to anything up to 150 cm from the ceiling. Over a dining table or island, aim for the bottom of the light to sit 75–90 cm above the surface; for walkways keep at least 2 m of head height.

What colour is the light?

It is switchable: 3000K–6000K. Warm white (around 3000K) is the cosy tone of a traditional bulb; neutral white (4000K) is crisper and suits kitchens and task areas; cool white (6000K+) reads bright and clinical.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Usually, yes. A pendant on a cable or rod hangs true on most slopes; only the ceiling plate needs to sit flat. Send us a photo of the ceiling and we will confirm before you order.
