About this light

Bring natural warmth overhead with our round oak rim ceiling light

Our round oak rim ceiling light wraps a slim, frosted acrylic disc in a solid wood circle, so the fitting reads as a soft, natural detail rather than a hard fixture. At just 5 cm deep it sits tight to the ceiling, and the integrated LED throws an even downward glow while a little light washes upward across the ceiling itself. Choose from three diameters to suit a hallway, bedroom, kitchen or living room, and select your colour temperature at installation to set the mood exactly as you want it.

Why this one

Why our round oak rim ceiling light is a must-have in your home

  • Warm wooden rim

a solid wood circle frames the light, adding natural texture and a Scandinavian softness to a plain white ceiling.

  • Five selectable colour temperatures

pick 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K or 6000K at installation, and dim it further with a compatible dimmer switch.

  • Ultra-slim, low-profile fit

only 5 cm deep, so it works beautifully in rooms with low ceilings, hallways and landings — and it is compatible with sloped ceilings.

Questions

Common questions

What bulb does it take?

None. The LEDs are built into the fitting, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 23 W (30 cm and 40 cm) · 30 W (50 cm).

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

What colour is the light?

It is switchable: 3000K–6000K. Warm white (around 3000K) is the cosy tone of a traditional bulb; neutral white (4000K) is crisper and suits kitchens and task areas; cool white (6000K+) reads bright and clinical.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

Yes. The supplier lists it as suitable for sloped ceilings. Send us a photo of the ceiling if you would like us to confirm before you order.
