Common questions

What bulb does it take?

It takes a standard E27 cap bulb, sold everywhere in the UK. Maximum 5W. Choose an LED bulb for the longest life, and one marked dimmable if you plan to dim it.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

No. It plugs into a standard UK socket: unpack, position, switch on.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Yes. It is rated IP65, which is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it suits bathroom zones 1 and 2 and can also be used outdoors.

What colour is the light?

Warm white (3000K warm white): the soft, golden tone of a traditional incandescent bulb. The most flattering choice for living rooms, bedrooms and dining.
