At 90 cm across it is built to hold its own over a kitchen island, a long dining table or a wide living-room seating area, and the adjustable cord means you can hang it at exactly the right height. What bulb does it take?

IT TAKES A STANDARD E27 CAP BULB, SOLD EVERYWHERE IN THE UK. Maximum 40 W per bulb (maximum). Choose an LED bulb for the longest life, and one marked dimmable if you plan to dim it.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. Pair it with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer. Older rotary dimmers made for incandescent bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, so it connects to the existing cable at your ceiling rose or wall point. That work should be done by a qualified electrician. A straight swap for an existing fitting is a routine job.

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?

No. The supplier lists this one for flat ceilings only. If your ceiling is sloped, send us a photo and we will suggest an alternative.
